What you need to know

Points to consider

If you haven't competed in a five-club golf competition before then you may want to think about some of the following unique issues that five-club golf poses:

  • Players must work out in advance how best to play the course and what clubs to use.  Look at the venue websites for course layouts and more information.
  • With the loss of 9 clubs and the traditional golf bag and trolley, you may have to consider carrying more than normal.
  • Do you need a caddie to carry your equipment and to alleviate the need to bend down to change clubs?
  • Do you need an umbrella?  Waterproof gloves?
  • Do you take additional golf balls?  The Rangeholder will happily carry half a dozen.

This is no ordinary challenge and there are lots of points to consider!
